More than a dozen Oklahoma City organizations will observe the 61st anniversary of the bombing of Hiroshima. The event begins at 7 p.m. Sunday at Tom Lee’s Photo Studio, 3000 N Lee, with music and readings amid a display of photographs titled “Children of the Iraq War.”
Sponsoring groups include the Peace House; Catholic Peace Fellowship; the OKC Friends Meeting; Joy Mennonite Church; Episcopal Peace & Justice Commission; Pax Christi OKC; Sisters of Benedict; Red Plains Monastery; Buddhist Peace Fellowship; Church of the Open Arms; Mayflower Congregational Church; Sojourners Group; Oklahoma Veterans for Peace; Anti-War Fair Coalition; and Oklahoma Committee for Conscientious Objectors.
